Free CPR classes to Ocoee residents

The Ocoee Fire Department is offering Friends & Familycardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) instruction to Ocoee residents -- free ofcharge. CPR classes will be held the fourth Wednesday of each month,7:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at Fire Station One, 563 South Bluford Avenue.Cardiopulmonary resuscitation is an emergency first aid procedure for a victim ofcardiac arrest. Residents of all ages, including children, are invited to learn basictechniques that can save lives. Participants will learn adult, children and infantCPR. CPR classes should be taken every two years.Residents must show proof of residency to attend the classes. Space is limitedto 10 people per class.To register for the CPR class, please contact Engineer Carl Curtis,ccurtis@ci.ocoee.fl.us, or call Fire Administration at 407-905-3100 ext. 9-2003.Attendance will be subject to availability, and will require a minimum number ofstudents per class.
